Kavanaghs Marino House
Kavanaghs Marino House is an iconic Dublin Pub. It had numerous leaks across different areas of the flat felt roof. A roof survey was completed, a report provided to the client and the following repairs completed:
Existing roof felt was removed from upstands and roof area
The roof deck was rotting and was removed
Roof joists had to be removed and replaced with new
A new two ply torch on felt system was installed
The water tanks which were sitting directly on the roof deck were removed
Galvanised rolled steel joists were bolted to the steel stub columns to support the weight of the water tanks
Water tanks were then reinstalled on top of rolled steel joists
The entire courtyard roof was removed and replaced with a new timber deck and Flagon PVC membrane for weathering
“Kevin and the team provided great advice and a professional service. They kept me informed every step of the way and I’m really happy with the quality of the workmanship”. Gerry Kavanagh, Proprietor
